Judgment is in scoping the task, deciding the escalation path, defining review rules, and recognizing when the cost of autonomy is higher than the gain.
What operators should ask
What happens when the system is wrong? What context does it need? What should remain human? Which mistakes are annoying, and which ones are unacceptable?
The useful mindset
Treat agentic systems as leverage, not magic. Good operators do not disappear when the tooling improves. They become more important.
